HUMAN RIGHTS CLUB

The organization shall establish Human Rights Clubs in all learning institutions and states of the federation. There shall be Club Coordinator who will also serve as contact person of the organization. The establishment of the Human Rights Clubs shall be due to the reasons listed below:

a. To reach out to the entire populace even at the grass roots level
b. To help the National Secretariat research, document and take statistics of cases of human rights violations and activities in their various areas.
c. To help in the campaigning activities of the organization
d. To help in lobbying strategies of the organization
e. To help in the petition writing against violations of human rights as may be prescribed by the organization

1. COOPERATION.

a. The club shall at all times cooperate with the National Secretariat in all activities. In furtherance of this cooperation, the clubs shall submit monthly report of activities to the National Secretariat.

b. The clubs shall send representatives to the Annual General Meeting as may be organized by the organization. c. The club shall maintain close relations with other Human Rights Clubs of the organization.

d. The clubs shall pay such fees as may be decided by the National Secretariat.

e. The clubs shall at all times take directive from the National secretariat before any action is taken.

2. ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION AT CLUB LEVEL.

CHRER in consultation with any particular Human Rights Club shall:

a. Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and lectures on human rights.
b. Organize fund raising programme for the development and maintenance of the club and National Secretariat.
c. Research, document and take statistics of cases of human rights violations and activities.
d. Mobilize people to take actions against violations of human rights.
e. Publish journals and leaflets in local languages.
f. Organize Home Government Activities & Strategies in affairs regarding human rights.
g. Maintain peace and conflict resolution.

3. ORGANIZATION OF CLUB

a. The club shall consist of not less than ten (10) registered members.
b. The Executive Director in consultation with the club coordinator shall be vested with direct authority for the conduct of the affairs of the club.
c. The club coordinator shall be the contact person between the club and the National Secretariat.
d. There shall be officials over seeing the affairs of the club among members as may be approved by the National Secretariat.
e. Any dispute arising within members of the club shall be forwarded to the National Secretariat for quick intervention.
